Welcome to July’s newsletter. This month, we’re focusing on this year’s Soil Association Organic Fortnight, a range of competitions for you to enter to enter and an opportunity to show your support for a book which endorses nationwide accommodation with organic credentials. But first, we’d like to bring you up to date with the petition we’ve launched to help protect honeybees. |
The plight of the honeybee We’d also like to say a huge thank you to all of those who’ve made a donation to support this piece of work. It’s great for us to know that our beliefs are shared and your help allows us to shout louder when voicing our concerns at government level. And if you’re not already a member of the Soil Association charity, why not join us? Membership is key to the funding of all our campaigns and allows us to plan ahead with real conviction – join us here. | |
Soil Association Organic Fortnight – 5-20 September 2009 We’ve a little way to go yet but we’re fast approaching this year’s Soil Association Organic Fortnight, so why not get the dates in your diary right now? With a strong focus on going organic on a budget, we’re encouraging everyone to get involved in promoting the benefits with all kinds of events being hosted up and down the UK. Keep an eye on our dedicated webpage for ideas on how to get involved and for updates about events near you. The real highlight of the fortnight will be the Soil Association Organic Food Festival, which will take place here in Bristol on the weekend of 12th and 13th September. Soil Association members will be given free admission, so if you’re not already a member, why not join us this month?
