E-mail:  angelhealing_bristol@yahoo.co.uk
Location:  Bristol
Birthday:  14 October, 1971
Bio:  I'm a Liverpudlian who has been settled in the South West for 12 years. I have two teenagers, I'm an artist, Reiki Master/teacher, Adult Ed Teacher and Workshop Facilitator. I have a daily routine of practising meditation, yoga and reiki. I'm trained in holistic massage and reiki and have worked with many inspiring women (and men!) and have worked in the voluntary sector with women with food and substance addictions, been a drugs worker, counsellor and a community artist. I'm a member of The Red Web Foundation. Along with other women such as Vicki Noble, Tamara Slayton, Christiane Northrup, they form a network of women committed to promoting menstrual health in their personal and professional lives. The Foundation is a member-run, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting a positive societal view of girls' and women's bodies and menstrual cycles from first menstruation (called menarche) through menopause. These ?menstrual health advocates? offer a diverse range of products, workshops, and educational materials and include artists, mental health professionals, businesswomen, mums, students, teachers, and health care providers. The Foundation is committed to including a diversity of cultural views and experiences of the menstrual life-cycle. We honour individual and cultural practices of the present day and the past which promote a healthy outlook for women and society. I work with individuals, groups and communities; offering the Reiki Treatments and Classes, ?Wise Women?s Workshops? , ?Celebrating Menarche?- mother and daughter days and rites of passage ceremonies with young women, ?Power of Menstruation? menstrual awareness courses and Affirmation Mirror workshops. My workshops and classes have become a regular addition to The Dove Street Action Group Activities. I've run confidence boosting workshops with children and teens and Living Well classes for the tenants of the High Rise flats on Dove St. My workshops have been requested at various community events across Bristol to celebrate International Women?s Day and I've been invited on to local radio to discuss women?s health and environmental issues. I'm a regular at Sacred Arts Camp where I help facilitate a huge Tribal Rites of Passage Ceremony for the young women of the camp, I facilitate the teens area of the Unicorn Camp and with my partner run week long activity holidays for teens and their parents. My daughter and I manage a web group for women to discuss, explore and share their experiences of being a woman. I am dedicated to my own journey of self growth and to supporting women on theirs. I have a huge belief in people and their ability to shine and achieve their dreams with encouragement. Wise Women?s Workshops are renowned for being full of glue, glitter and sparkle, laughter and chocolate. I use art, movement, visualisation and ceremony to help transform aspirations and dreams into reality. I create safe, warm and inspiring spaces for people to celebrate themselves and each other. These spaces are unlike any other personal development programmes offering a unique experience in a magical atmosphere. Some workshops and training are women only but lots of them are available to men and women who are open to new perspectives to life. My origional hand made merchandise reflects my love of people and the planet- my art work is available as cards (each full of sparkley things and affirmations), prints and I have my own set of daily affirmation cards to inspire and enpower. I have designed the most environmentally friendly sanitary wear imaginable! Pads are made from organic cotton and hemp- and are pretty as well as kind to Mother Earth. My Eye Soothers are ideal for aiding relaxation after a hard day- filled with organic lavender or rose they can help aleviate headaches and lift depression. And there are my hand mixed massage blends- ones for soothing menstrual cramps, ones for uplifting the spirit, ones for relaxing. I'm a Member of the International Guild of Professional Practitioners/Embody (membership number P16489) (visit their website here) and the Global Reiki Association. (membership number 5115) www.thegra.org and am available for one to one treatments, Reiki classes or to run workshops for your group.
Interests:  My hobbies and interests are yoga, meditation, magic and healing, love, life, friends, family and sparkly things! My Favourite Quote is "I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God who is sending a love letter to the world." - Mother Teresa
